I have no will or desire to do a single thing at this very moment. Over the next three days, I have who-knows-how-much homework to finish, six final exams to take, two graduations (one being my own) to attend, and the constant, never-ending repetition of actions we call routine to put up with.
And yet all I want is to jump on my bed, lay there motionless, sleep for the next four days, and wake up a high school graduate with sixty-five days left of summer to enjoy with amazing people, great food, and extraordinary places.
C’est la vie.
